The Harvest Community Storm Shelter is a project funded by a FEMA grant (75%) and your generous donations (25%) to serve the people of Harvest and the surrounding area with a much-needed safe haven during severe weather. The total cost of the community storm shelter will be $954,000, with the majority of the funding provided by FEMA.
A supplemental grant from the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund (GERF) was recently approved for $119,000.
Together, we face the challenge of raising remainder of the funds, which now equals $119,000. In order to become a reality, our entire community needs to be involved. Read the story, check out the shelter plans, and donate today!
